Wonderful stay!….couldn’t’ have been any better”

Where to start! Firstly the accommodation itself was beautifully done with great taste and it appeared brand new. Huge bathroom and sleeping area with comfortable beds and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and living areas. It really is the ideal place to spend with family and friends.
The grounds were gorgeous and it’s the type of place you wake up with a smile. Proximity to Forres was also spot on however beware if you don’t have a car (the kind hosts did provide Bikes however)
Fiona and Carlo were the icing on the cake and couldn’t have been better hosts, from providing Prosecco for our New year celebrations to being on hand to make everything we wanted to do happen….it was refreshing to find two people that really do know what being a host truly means!
A BIG THANKS from all of us and we can’t wait to send other people your way!
“A true gem”

We had a wonderful week in October with our three teenage boys and spaniel. We have stayed in countless cottages over the years and this quite easily is the best. Great open plan kitchen, dining and living room furnished with taste and fresh flowers (my wife noticed). Kitchen appliances and utensils up to chef’s exacting standards. All important wide screen TV, sound system and wi fi to allow our boys to survive and do what they do. I now hate our bedroom and en suite at home as it is not a patch on what we had at Willowbarn! Beautiful grounds for an early morning walk with our dog. Carlo and Fiona could not have been more attentive. It is simply a true gem. And the surrounding area has so much to offer….Inverness thirty minutes, Aviemore little more, Findhorn Bay, Culloden, Brodie Castle, Landmark adventure park, whisky distilleries galore, many great cafes and restaurants.
